OUR STORY
Jarrod Olsen, a distinguished master craftsman based in the Southern Highlands, is renowned for his expertise in constructing high-quality, bespoke homes of architectural distinction. With a career spanning nearly four decades, Jarrod embarked on his building journey in Sydney before refining his skills across Europe. Upon his return to Australia, he undertook distinctive custom projects along the Northern Beaches of Sydney and North Stradbroke Island, before receiving an invitation to the Southern Highlands in 2010 to create the Pepper Tree Creek Estate in Kangaloon. Since then, Jarrod and his accomplished team have had the privilege of contributing to numerous prestigious projects in the Southern Highlands, consistently delivering unrivalled craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and the finest finishes.
In 2017, Jarrod completed his Passive House Tradesperson course. A few years later, he embarked on the construction of his own Passive House in Bowral, Southern Highlands. Jarrod and Sara recognised Passive House construction as the future of building in Australia and an essential component of quality construction. Jarrod has trained his own team of skilled tradesmen to adhere to the rigorous international Passive House Standard.
In 2022, Jarrod Olsen & Co achieved a noteworthy milestone by completing their first Certified Passive House in the Southern Highlands, designed and modelled by architect Andy Marlow and his accomplished team at Envirotecture. This bespoke masterpiece, aptly named “The Passive House,” graces the landscape of Robertson, representing a harmonious blend of sustainability and architectural excellence.
